Tohma is here! He's a nice guy and one my best friends from home. We played in a band together until I went to the States and he started his own company. Be nice to him, okay? Although he still gets up way too early. Evil evil cold feet.

Sorry about the surprise Tetsu! I didn't think it would be that bad.

I've really got osme time to think here. Though this place, has a lot of interesting stories.

[ Ryuichi smiles, closing his eyes and draws his fingers along the scarred table top, tapping out a rhythm. ]

He really is hopeless at times.

I can't help but feel that perhaps you shouldn't have helped him? Shindou-san won't learn if you keep babying him. You of all people should know that.

I know I shouldn't have, but... I was trying to prevent Shuichi from getting revived. I heard it's a bitch.

Besides, as interesting Eiri is when he's pissed, I did not want to become number two on his list of people to fuck up.

What's with this "getting revived" talk I get hearing about? And I don't think Eiri-san would hurt you like that.

[ And Ryuichi laughes, switching to English. ]

[Although startled but the sudden change in language, Tohma changes to English as well.]

I can't say I ever have. I usually need to be sober so I can negotiate with other people.

Ryuichi, why are we speaking in English?

I find it makes people a little odd. Eiri gets maundering. It was startling.

[ He shrugs, and stretches out, snagging the notepad from Tohma. ]

I feel like it.

I can't say I'm surprised. Many people who are drunk tend to do things that are opposite of their personality or completely lose their inhibitions and do things they would never do sober. Although, I didn't know that about Eiri-san. He'd never really gotten drunk in front of me before.

[Tohma regarded Ryuichi for a moment and a hopeless laugh escaped his lips]

Of course. I doubt you'd be speaking in English if you disliked it.

Shuichi just gets louder! Maybe he doesn't think I am that much of a threat, at least since he figures he knows what I am after.

[ Just for that laugh, Ryuichi leans in and steals a quick kiss and falls back into his chair with his own laugh. ]

So. Business?

[Tohma finds himself smiling one of those genuine smiles again, and he is quite sure he's never smiled so honestly so often in a long time.]

Business? You actually want to sit down and talk about it? I thought you'd be fleeing in terror at there mere mention of the word.

[ It probably had been a long time since they had been alone togeteher without people poking and prying that did it because Ryuichi never was as open about his affections as he was right now. ]

I know, I know, I used to go to those board meetings you dragged me to wearing headphones, but I really don't have anything better to do.

[It had definitely been a long time since they'd had private alone time.]

That's true. But you know how important your input is and always will be, so you had to go to those meetings.

[Tohma cocks his head curiously]

Did you want to talk about enlisting those with musical talent in bands? Or is there other business you wanted to talk about?

You've been here for a long while, haven't you? Then you, more than anyone, should know who is talented and who shouldn't have time wasted on them.

There were a couple people who were good, very very good. Classical players, the guy sort of too tightly wound but the girls had some promise. Gone though.

[ He flipped the notebook over and dug through the pages, coming across a drawing of a purple dinosaur chewing on a building. Boxed into the building were a few notes. ]

Johnny is okay but his world doesn't have much music so he had to learn from scraps. There's a catwoman... very sexy singer.... I forgot her name. Cirno, a few others.

[Tohma squinted at the "notes" that Ryuichi had taken and wasn't sure if he should be proud of him or feel hopeless. He went with the former.]

I see. You've been paying very close attention, I see. I'm glad~ It makes less work for me.

I sort of got bored.

[ He looked hopelessly at his own work. ]

But the dinosaur came out okay.

I can tell. ~~Couldn't you have drawn that thing on the back?~~ It's okay, though. You can still make it out.

I remember them better when I hear them anyways. So not everything is lost.

OH! Where to preform is next, right? The high school's got the biggest safe space. It's not the best, but it's better than most.

That makes sense, then. If there's some kind of auditorium or gymnasium, that would be excellent. If not, we'll improvise.

And, at the very least, it seems like a spot that would catch attention.
