[ Ryuichi is bored and Tohma-less. He could go do something productive, like build a new hospital or play poker with the boys, but instead, Ryuichi has decided to sing a couple songs. For your listening pleasure, the first song is Predilection and the second one is Gather Roses. When he gets done singing both songs, Ryuichi, looks at the communicator and sticks his tongue out. ]

I've been having trouble sleeping well completely alone. The medicine does knock me out eventually, but....

[ He laughs a little and shakes his head. ]

But it's not a very comfortable sleep.

Okay... I'll do it then.

A-Ah. Really? You will~?

Why shouldn't I? You're lonely and Mika's staying away and I'm really sad without seeing you all the time.

Mm! We can make a party of it. I still have some snacks that we can share, you know. I assume you've eaten all of the candy you got for your birthday?

I ate it all... Sorry Tohma. But we can have some fun cuz I did bring some stuff from work.

[ And he pulls out a squishy cake from the cafe - one of those tiny ones with the glaze. ]

Umm.

You were... supposed to eat it all. It was your candy, Ryuichi.

[ He points to the far side of the room. ]

Suguru-kun keeps bringing me sweets, so I've been eating those. It's okay if you want to eat that cake, Ryuichi.

But it's no fun to not share it all.

[ Pouts at Tohma and holds the cake out to him. ]

We're sharing it.

[ Laughing again. ]

Fine, but will you break it in half?

[ He'd rather not risk the soap and water not getting rid of all the TB germs. ]

Okay!

[ He carefully breaks it in half, hopefully not spilling crumbs all over the place. ]

[ Well if he does... oh well! It's a party. ]

I wish we had balloons and streamers. Or even some beer or wine.

I got some battery acid but we would have to share the bottle.

[ And from under his jacket comes a bottle of the faintly green drink served at the bar. ]

[ He has his half of the cake in his mouth so he can't exactly talk. But he's amused that Ryuichi smuggled so much into the hospital. When he's finished chewing and swallowing, he snickers a little. ]

I was only kidding. I can't have alcohol with my medication.

[ Ryuichi will pout at that but he will drink for them both then. ]

You've got other goodies, right?

[ He shrugs apologetically. ]

I do. They're in the back Suguru-kun brought me earlier. There's also a book in there if you'd like to browse through it...

[ Ryuichi leaves the booze and Kumagoro and goes fetches some of the goodies. ]

[ There's mostly packaged cookies, a few sleeves of crackers, and other various sweets. Tohma's eaten about half of it on his own.

In the mean time, Tohma pats Kumagoro on the head. ]

[ Ryuichi grabbed about half of the stuff and brought it over to the bed, spreading it out like cards. ]

There we go!

[ Uwah. That's a lot of food for one night. ]

We're going to get a sugar rush....

Well, it's better than a coke rush!

[ Realizing what he just said, Ryuichi started laughing. ]

Not that I ever done anything like that!

[ Sloooowly unwrapping a cookie now, staring at Ryuichi like he's the biggest liar in the world. ]

[ Fidgets and chews on his sticky cake, watching Tohma watching him. ]

Umm... only once. Really.

[ Eating his cookie. Slowly. Watching Ryuichi. When he's all done with his first bite, he smiles brightly! ]

It's okay, Ryuichi.

Are you sure?

[ Swallows and grabs the booze, opening and taking a big drink. ]

Well, there's no point in getting upset.

[ Lucky Ryuichi, getting to drink. ]

Right?

[ Nomming his cookie. Look! He's eating! ]
