[ There's a sound of rustling paper and someone muttering about how Kuma-chan is wrong that kanji SO not the one for horse does he need glasses? for a moment of two. Then Ryuichi is speaking directly at the communicator, his Japanese is - as usual - a little slurry as if he is permanently drunk. ]

So I got a bunch of stuff written up but not really have the melody all worked out. That's okay though cuz that's how music works - you don't just throw stuff out and expect it to suddenly be all ready to go! Unless you are really that desperate to sing something like winning a bet or something!

Anyways, I think this work, what does everyone else think? LET ME READ IT TO YOU!

A small bird with closed eyes says "Even like this I can still fly"
Because straining its ears, if it listens to the wind, it has nothing to fear.

A raising voice in the news says "Lies are wrong"
A kitten with hidden claws holds its belly and laughs.

Knowing the meaning of loving, while I get frightened of loving.
Even if it's unnatural, without the filthiness of my heart
I can't walk now.

Seeing dreams about you.
But still tomorrow will come.
But still...

I will be able to get to somewhere.
But still tomorrow will come.

In the dream known as "Eternity", feeling giddy,
I covet for the rotten fruit.
Taking the way to survive and throwing it away,
I wait for tomorrow.

I guess that's it!

[ooc; OOPS! I forgot to mention that the lyrics are from the song Chaos by the band SCARECROW. It is a pretty song even though the words are a bit bleak. I feel that it fits with how things are in the city right now. ]

[ Ryuichi is bored and Tohma-less. He could go do something productive, like build a new hospital or play poker with the boys, but instead, Ryuichi has decided to sing a couple songs. For your listening pleasure, the first song is Predilection and the second one is Gather Roses. When he gets done singing both songs, Ryuichi, looks at the communicator and sticks his tongue out. ]

I'm done so there.

So I've been working on a whole bunch of songs with Tohma! It's been really cool and interesting and say, here's some lyrics!

Take apart my love through this silent pain.
Slowly melting within a collapsed star, forever entangled
Light sucking sound I draw closer forever connected in this endless void.
Your voice pressing deeper I cannot pull away...

Cool right? Well, I think it's cool. So it's cool!

OH! Souji! Hang in there and don't let the doctors poke at you too much!

[ The dynamic duo are at it again, this time they are sitting on the stage of the High School auditorium. Ryuichi is sitting spread eagle on the edge of the stage, a mic stand between his legs, and Tohma is standing at the key board plugging something into the computer. Ryuichi leans back, sliding his hands down the pole and licks his lips, and Tohma just shakes his head at the display and flips a switch. ]

Are you ready?

I have been waiting forever and ever, Tohma!

Now, Ryuichi. Do not make me put my synth away.

You wouldn't, right?

I would not if you behave.

Okay! I'll be good!

[ Tohma nods, his usual plastic smile not so plastic as it is satisfied and starts playing this not-so-work-safe song. As Ryuichi sings with the song, he also acts it out, but he at least keeps his clothes on in the end. He nods once the music is done, picks up Kumagoro and tosses the pink bunny at the communicator. It falls over, giving everyone a nice view of the ceiling and a pink ear and muffles the murmuring of two voices in the background. After a while, it times out. ]

[ Ryuichi is sitting on his very big bed, playing his guitar and wearing a mis-matched outfit that's a rock star's idea of comfortable in fur and torn jeans, and with a pink rabbit sitting on top of his head. He looks a lot more healthier then he has been thanks to Tohma's mother-henning nagging, but it's clear that he isn't eating as much as he should. Not that he really cares. After a minute or so, he starts singing this song.

Once he's done, he puts the guitar down, picks up the communicator and grins at the camera. ]

Cheer up, everyone! The world hasn't ended yet and spring will be here. We'll make it, right? RIGHT!

[ Yes, the Nittle Graspers are at it again. This time, they are better prepared and Ryuichi has bowed to the necessary and is using a guitar to help back up the simple sounds Tohma can get out of his snyth. The boys also look as if they had a little bit to drink, just enough to make them a touch silly. That is apparent with their first pick of the day, which is this song. Ryuichi then grins and starts the riff for this song and Tohma follows him, even singing some of the chorus with him. They get a little bit serious with their next piece, a nice slower song, and then they do another song that has a heavier guitar part. And for their last song, they do this song.

Once they are done with their list, Ryuichi tackles a tired looking Tohma and gives him a big wet kiss. There's a moment of flailing and then they both fall out of sight and it takes a few seconds for the camera to time out but before it does, you can hear laughing. ]

[ooc; More borrowed songs (sobs). In order, we have 'Mr.D' from Iceman, 'Samurai Do It' by Michihiro Kuroda, 'Tearless' by Iceman, 'Maybe I Don't Cry' by Scarecrow, and for the end there is 'Dizzy Boogie' by Iceman. I am seeing a trend (sob). Feel free to talk or stop by since they are playing after the huge contest from earlier. ]

[ It is late but still the two boys from Nittle Grasper are working on music. The communicator first shows the high plain ceiling of the high school's auditorium and then it swings around, showing the floor and then the cleaned top of the piano and then there was the slightly less clean surface of the stage. The communicator is set down and we see that the person holding it was none other than Ryuichi, who goes to sit at the piano. ]

Okay, I think we're good to go.

[ Tohma is sitting at the piano, his hands in his lap. He shakes his head but he still starts playing. First comes this song, and once he finishes it, he turns to his synthesizer sitting on a nearby table while Ryuichi swings his legs around and straddles the bench. ]

There, it's set.

[ Tohma leaves the snyth and turns back to the piano. When the music starts, both him and Ryuichi start performing this song. When done, they both wave at the communicator. ]

Merry Christmas!

\end transmission

[ooc; Borrowing a couple more songs for the amazing duo's performance. As a special note for those people who didn't know, the guy playing the piano in the second video is Daisuke Asakura who is the real life inspiration for Tohma. So, yeah got to pick stuff that he has worked on for Grasper stuff. Also red= Tohma and blue = Ryu.]

I had a lot of fun, Tatsuha! Thanks for all your help! I'm sorry I dropped that last bag on your foot though, but the bat thingies were being really mean about my hair. OH! And are we on for moving a few things from that one apartment? I think we can really use a different table and it's too much just for me to carry all by myself. Anyone else want to help out? I promise I won't drop anything else on people's feet!

Umm, scientist guys? I would like to have a chalkboard and some chalk and maybe a guitar? That way I'm not always wasting paper that should be used for more important things.

Tohma! I finished the song! Let's find a piano and play out the harmony!

I guess what they say is true. Talent can be found in the weirdest places. Thanks again everyone that came to our little talent search. If anyone is still interested in joining us, please inform myself or Tohma about your interest. We're still on the look out for people who can manage those with more talent than common sense. Because rock and rollers don't always know what's best for them, and managers do! Even if it includes getting the star up at five in the morning using a bazooka smack to the head!

So anyways, if you need a listening to or a showing off, just leave one of us a message, and we'll arrange a face-to-face cuz those work better than over the communicator thing. Also! Newly arrived and still a performer of some kind? Give me a jingle here and I'll get Tohma involved.

Thanks for listening!

[ First there's the sound of a beat, probably a foot tapping hard against an empty can. Then a guitar joins in - nothing too great in the line of guitar playing, but it is obvious that whoever is playing is using the music as background for the singer, who is going over the words, changing the melody, changing the words. And then it stops, there's a sound of paper cracking, and then the song is back. ]

[ The music stops and there's a soft sigh. ]

Are we done yet, Tohma? Can we go back to the room and near the fire?

[ooc; Predilection comes from the Gravitation Song Story and is a Nittle Grasper/Ryuichi song. For anyone in the music audition log/auditorium, Ryuichi decided to work on his own song, which this is a piece of, so feel free to have heard him singing it/commentlog or whatever!]

[ There's a rustle of paper and then you hear Ryuichi singing. ]

So what does everyone think so far? It sounds good, right? Course, we'll need to work on the arrangement first to really play it... So back to work we go! If you wanna hear more, you'll have to wait until we're done, but I can sing other stuff.

[OOC; The song's by a nice little J-pop group called Iceman.]
