15... this is how it's done
[ voice | Japanese ]
[ First there's the sound of a beat, probably a foot tapping hard against an empty can. Then a guitar joins in - nothing too great in the line of guitar playing, but it is obvious that whoever is playing is using the music as background for the singer, who is going over the words, changing the melody, changing the words. And then it stops, there's a sound of paper cracking, and then the song is back. ]
nijuuhachi-ji no yoru wo kiritoru
mado wo toshimetara hajimaru
ichido shikaketara tokenai wana wo
ma ni awanai PROTECTION
tatoeba kimi wo kizutsuketai

tataitemita tte sakendetemo
kikoenai sa PREDILECTION
iki mo dekinai

can't get enough
kotoba yori mo motto

kusuka ni kizutsuita
kimi wo mitsumeru me sono saki ni ...
[ The music stops and there's a soft sigh. ]
Are we done yet, Tohma? Can we go back to the room and near the fire?
[ooc; Predilection comes from the Gravitation Song Story and is a Nittle Grasper/Ryuichi song. For anyone in the music audition log/auditorium, Ryuichi decided to work on his own song, which this is a piece of, so feel free to have heard him singing it/commentlog or whatever!]

You're not from earth?
no subject
...well I think most planets are made of earth, aren't they? Mine's just called Auldrant.
no subject
Ours is just called Earth. I dunno if it's got a different name.
no subject
...Huh. Well the only languages on Auldrant are the Fonic Language that everybody speaks and Ancient Ispanian. So we're probably not from the same place.
no subject
Probably not. It doesn't sound like anything I've heard before.
no subject
Well your... Japanese, did you call it? It sounds cool.
no subject
It's a pretty fun language. I'm not so good with some of it though.
no subject
[Laughs.] I'm not so good with languages in general.
no subject
Sometimes they can be really easy. Othertimes, they make my head hurt.
no subject
I think I'm more on the headache end of that spectrum.
no subject
That's really terrible. I couldn't imagine what that would be like when going to a new place and not able to understand people.
no subject
[That's actually something I don't know how to handle with Luke; he speaks only the basic Fonic Language featured in his canon, and I see people differentiating between English and Japanese in their posts so I'm never sure if Luke would actually be able to understand anybody. DX; But his game was in both Japanese AND English so I just assume for the sake of CR. Hurr.] I'm lucky, everybody in my world speaks the same two languages. I come here and people speak all kinds of stuff!
no subject
Back home, there were hundreds of languages although some of them were dying out, which was sad too.
no subject
...Wow. I didn't know langauges could die. [:o]
