[ And here is the wild Ryuichi in his natural habitat of colored upon paper, crayons (half worn down to mere stubs), an old tub of glue and bits and pieces of colored old fabric. With delicate care - complete with his tongue sticking out of the side as his mouth - he finished gluing a piece of fabric on what looked like a keyboard. It now has been transformed into a riot of colors thanks to the careful application of colored paper and fabrics.

Grinning, Ryuichi sits back and wipes his face with the corner of his shirt before holding up his creation to the camera. ]

Noriko! I made it shiny! Do you like?

[ video ]

[ There's a flash of pink and some muttering and then the camera is fully on. What stands before is clearly Ryuichi, but he doesn't look like his usual self. HE managed to clean up and was wearing make-up, his hair styled in a tousled manner to make it look like he just got out of bed. But what was really interesting was what he was wearing - outside of the bright pink rabbit on top of his head.

That's right boys and girls, Ryuichi is dressed like a school girl. And not just any type of school girl, but one that had taken a trip to punk land and came back with a few baubles and torn clothing. He has a short skirt on, and biker shorts with holes on under that, and fishnet stockings with holes under that. There is the white dress shirt and a tie, but the tie was half undone and the shirt totally undone. There's a torn tank top under the dress shirt and yes, it looks like he is wearing a padded bra. And let's not forget the clunky unlaced boots and the torn knee high stockings, or the ripped-up gloves and fuzzy arm warmers.

At seeing the video is working properly, he puts his hands on his hips and poses. ]

So, what do you think? Should I hit the stage in this next?

I wonder if I've been changed in the night? Let me think: was I the same when I got up this morning? I almost think I can remember feeling a little different. But if I'm not the same, the next question is 'Who in the world am I?' Ah, that's the great puzzle!

So they just take them without warning, huh? How not clever of those guys. I wonder if they know what they're doing or if they just like playing god?

I guess this means I have to keep a close eye on them.

[ There's a soft giggle and a whispered 'Kumagoro! Bad bunny!' off camera. On camera is a very clear picture of a sleeping Tohma, a pile of furs under his head for a pillow and what appears to be a bright pink bunny suit draped over his body. There is also a stuffed bunny sitting on top of Tohma. ]

No jumping on him! We just got him to sleep!

[ Ryuichi is sitting on his very big bed, playing his guitar and wearing a mis-matched outfit that's a rock star's idea of comfortable in fur and torn jeans, and with a pink rabbit sitting on top of his head. He looks a lot more healthier then he has been thanks to Tohma's mother-henning nagging, but it's clear that he isn't eating as much as he should. Not that he really cares. After a minute or so, he starts singing this song.

Once he's done, he puts the guitar down, picks up the communicator and grins at the camera. ]

Cheer up, everyone! The world hasn't ended yet and spring will be here. We'll make it, right? RIGHT!

OKAY! It's time to have some fun! I mean, sure it's cold and wet and all that, but look at all that snow! It's calling to be turned into snowmen and snow families and snow angels and snowball fights and forts and igloos and all sorts of stuff! And and and I bet it would be a lot more fun than sitting around talking about how bad it is because it really isn't that bad cuz weather is just weather and people is what makes it all bad!

And I know I'm right about it too!

[ ooc; Anyone want to get hit on the head by a pink rabbit? Here's your chance! But nothing rough or really weird - this is just for fun and such (and is taking place in the hospital right now). ]

[ Ryuichi is sitting on the edge of the high school auditorium's stage, beating his feet against the wood while strumming a guitar. If he has noticed that there were branches of mistletoe all around him, he doesn't show it. Instead, he seems far more interested in his guitar, and after a few starts, he starts to sing this song. ]

The mistletoe hung in the castle hall,

[ After he finishes that song, he puts the guitar down and stretches, looking up. ]

Well, I guess I'm surrounded. They must have been really good ninjas to sneak so much mistletoe around me.

I never really thought about the holidays that much. Usually it's so busy that they just end up another day with the added bonus of singing for free. But I guess that's what I am doing here, right? Singing for charity...

Anyways, I'm looking for this monk I know, goes by the name of Tatsuha. I've heard he's suppose to be staying with his brother but I bet that it's a little crowded considering he's got to hang around Shuichi and Eiri. Maybe I can take him for a walk, right? I bet that would be nice of me.

Oh! Tohma! I'm gonna see about getting a chalkboard. That way your paper is safe and I think a guitar would be nice too. I just need to say hi to the scientists people, right?

[ voice | Japanese ]

[ First there's the sound of a beat, probably a foot tapping hard against an empty can. Then a guitar joins in - nothing too great in the line of guitar playing, but it is obvious that whoever is playing is using the music as background for the singer, who is going over the words, changing the melody, changing the words. And then it stops, there's a sound of paper cracking, and then the song is back. ]

[ooc; Predilection comes from the Gravitation Song Story and is a Nittle Grasper/Ryuichi song. For anyone in the music audition log/auditorium, Ryuichi decided to work on his own song, which this is a piece of, so feel free to have heard him singing it/commentlog or whatever!]

[ First you can hear some muttering in Japanese before the camera comes into focus. Next you can see a bright pink plush bunny, looking like he is sitting at the table, front paws folded neatly on top. Ryuichi is no where in sight, yet the bunny's voice sounds almost like his, except the Japanese is much more childish. ]

Hello everyone, I am Kumagoro the Wonder Bunny! I like to say hi to all those wonderful people out there that has been so nice to us! I would also like to say thank you to the nice doctor who cured my sickness! I really appreciate it!

[ The bunny bows and then disappears. the communicator tips over and you can probably hear someone whine about the table being too low before fingers come into view and cover the camera. ]

Anyone have a request? I'm dying of boredom here and no one has blown up a building or tried kidnapping Shuichi and myself and there's no American manager waving guns around or any keyboardist being his fluffy evil self to keep me occupied.

How many people are doing a band thing here? I haven't heard or seen one around, though I have heard a couple people over these fake phones doing stuff like that. Wasn't this place suppose to have one? I was just wondering...

[ And here is Ryuichi standing on a stage, wearing a jean jacket over a black tank top and some torn jeans, his hair a stylish mess and his grin as wide as ever. The stuffed rabbit he takes with him everywhere is not in sight, but there is pink fuzz surrounding the camera - Kumagoro is holding the communicator. Ryuichi waves, and then goes down in a full split, springs back up, does a flip, lands in a split and comes back up. He jumps a couple times, spins around and falls flat on his stomach, laughing, as he presses his nose against the camera. ]

See Kumagoro? The stage is too safe. Pfft!

[ He springs back to his feet and stretches, eyes closing and fingers reaching up. Holding that position, he runs through a couple of voice exercises, all of them pitch perfect even with the way he's stretching out his rib cage. Then dropping his arms, he twists, sings a few bars of 'Sleepless Beauty' then he goes off into 'Ava Maria' for a few short verses, before sticking his tongue out and looking up at the ceiling. ]

Okay, so the acoustics are a little wobbly, but it'll be okay. Now, to figure out what to do for lights if it's dark...

[ He wanders off-camera, muttering in Japanese. The camera times out after a minute or two. ]

[BZZZZZZZZZZT!]

[ voice | English ]

OW! It bit me! Why did it bit me? Did I shake it too hard? That's so uncool. Seriously uncool!

SO! I've got an awesome idea. A seriously awesome idea that we should've thought of before! We've got people who are sort of musicians even if there are a couple sillies... and lot of them are like posting stuff over these things, right? So why don't we like get together and have like a weekly show or something and play it over the air together. It would at least help those of us without instruments borrow some from the others without having to like use them to hit monsters when borrowing them or something stupid like that. It makes sense! We could do like a radio show or something!

It sounds cool in my head... So, what does everyone think?

So, I've heard there was some kind of band around here, although it's missing its key ingredient. And then the whole chorus thing was okay, but man, I guess it's not my thing, you know? I'd quit that scene ages ago after we'd gone triple platinum.

Anyways, I was wondering what do other people do in this place besides running around crying about monsters and no food and no lights and stuff? How many people are in a band? Are there doctors and repairman here? And why do I think this is a crappy episode of Gillian's Island?
