16... so they say

[ voice | English ]

I guess what they say is true. Talent can be found in the weirdest places. Thanks again everyone that came to our little talent search. If anyone is still interested in joining us, please inform myself or Tohma about your interest. We're still on the look out for people who can manage those with more talent than common sense. Because rock and rollers don't always know what's best for them, and managers do! Even if it includes getting the star up at five in the morning using a bazooka smack to the head!

So anyways, if you need a listening to or a showing off, just leave one of us a message, and we'll arrange a face-to-face cuz those work better than over the communicator thing. Also! Newly arrived and still a performer of some kind? Give me a jingle here and I'll get Tohma involved.

Thanks for listening!

I should turn you into a manger so you can boss other people around or something. ♫ You can make them shine... brighter.

I think you'd be a good manager. You've certainly inspired Shindou-san a great deal.

If you hadn't pushed him so hard or rescued from his stage blunders, he'd still be a nobody, I'm sure.

He almost had it within his grasp. He nearly stayed in New York with XMR, but suddenly changed his mind.

It seems he lacks commitment... so perhaps that is the issue. He has an on-again-off-again relationship with Eiri-san, as well as with his band. He's threatened to leave Bad Luck... Three times, was it?

[identity profile] blameshimself.livejournal.com 2009-12-11 07:37 am (UTC)(link)
I think you're right. However, it's not exactly my place to nudge him in the right direction anymore. He's come far along enough that he should realize his own problems and deal with them accordingly.

I think what happened is he's fallen off the fence of love and music onto the side of love.

[identity profile] blameshimself.livejournal.com 2009-12-11 07:44 am (UTC)(link)
I'm not sure what could possibly be a bigger incentive. What does he want us to do, kidnap Eiri and hold him hostage and release him once he writes spectacular songs?

You're right; that kind of balance is possible, albeit not easily achievable.

[identity profile] blameshimself.livejournal.com 2009-12-11 07:51 am (UTC)(link)
I meant, does he want us to keep doing it every time he gets into a slump? It's ridiculous.

It's perfectly fine if you choose one over the other. However, it's pathetic to say you love both equally when you don't act like it at all.

[identity profile] blameshimself.livejournal.com 2009-12-11 08:02 am (UTC)(link)
No, he wouldn't. I wouldn't like it either. He's just going to have to find some way to inspire himself or give up music. I don't see a point in continuing to be a musician when you only give 10% of your effort.

With a couple sets of groupies who would annoy them to no end.

[identity profile] blameshimself.livejournal.com 2009-12-11 08:18 am (UTC)(link)
That would be the one.

I really did go easy on them, didn't I?

[identity profile] blameshimself.livejournal.com 2009-12-11 08:23 am (UTC)(link)
I remember.

[Steepling his fingers as he ponders what made him go so easy on Shuichi.]

Well, we certainly matured to be a legendary band in the end, didn't we?

[identity profile] blameshimself.livejournal.com 2009-12-11 08:28 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, but it was entirely your idea.

Perhaps no one bothered to look for those old records because they were simply afraid of the consequences. I don't see why they would be so afraid of doing it, though.

[identity profile] blameshimself.livejournal.com 2009-12-11 05:05 pm (UTC)(link)
Of course. That's why you're a genius. ♫

I know you have nothing to hide, Ryuichi. Neither does Noriko. I certainly have nothing to hide, either. It would simply be troublesome if people tried to dig up old information, both for us and for them.
